How do you get videos from kodak software to windows movie maker.?windows defender

well you can't "directly" upload your video if it is in a format that is not supported by windows movie maker. A lot of times when you are trying to upload or import videos from a camera on windows movie maker, the videos you have are usually not in wmv or avi which are compatible with the software. Windows movie maker 2.1 only works for .avi and .wmv formats. So you will need to take your videos and find a video converter and convert it to either avi or wmv before you upload them to windows movie maker. You can go to www.download.com to search for a video converter. If you want something free, you can do an advanced search to narrow it down and only search for something free or go to www.freewarefiles.com and do a search there.

The following video files in those formats are compatible with windows movie maker:

.asf, .avi, .m1v, .mp2, .mp2v, .mpe, .mpeg, .mpg, .mpv2, .wm, and .wmv
