Windows movie maker doesnt let me upload the video. Why not?

I try to take movies off of youtube and change them in windows movie maker using vixy. WMM doesnt let me load?opera browser

it did not let you because windows movie maker automatically makes its videos in a file format called MSWMM which is not accepted and is not valid on youtube

follow these steps to get your video to work on youtube:

-open windows movie maker

-press 'import audio/video'

-import the video you wanted to upload

-drag it to the time line

(this next bit is important in getting it to work in an accepted video format)

- when you have finished and want to save it, you must press 'PUBLISH MOVIE' at the top of the screen near the middle

-then press 'PUBLISH TO THIS COMPUTER'

-name the video

-save

now it will save to your video folder and will also convert to a WMV format which is accepted by youtube,and is one of the most commonly used so it works easy

after the video has finished converting and saving do the following

-open youtube

-sign in

-press upload

-fill in the video info

-upload the video making sure you do not choose the one that you had in the MSWMM format

now wait on the upload screen until it says 'upload successful, the video will be available from 'my videos' once it has finished processing'

then convert it to AVI or WMV,MP4 for inserting into Windows movie maker, because Windows movie maker just can load this file format,
