responses here are good I just wanted to add one thing.

The following formats are supported by windows movie maker. Make sure your music is in one of those formats.

.aif, .aifc, .aiff .asf, .au, .mp2, .mp3, .mpa, .snd, .wav, and .wma .

save the song from ur playlist on itunes and import it on movie maker or do the same thing from limewire by clicking explore and choosing the song and saving it
Covert 2 a file type accepted by WMM.
If its on iTunes then you can Right click on the prefered song %26amp; click show in windows explorer.

This should bring up the folder %26amp; after that you just drag the Music File into Windows movie maker.
When you go into Windows Movie Maker on the left side click "Import audio or music". Then on the drop down bar select all media files, find the itunes song your looking for and if that doesn't work then you can try the following options.

Method 1: Burn the track(s) to a CD, then you can open the CD in iTunes and the Convert Selection to MP3 will do exactly what you want. Just be aware that you'll have TWO copies of that song in iTunes -- one in the original AAC format and one in MP3 format. You can delete the AAC version if you like.

Method 2: If you have lots of music, you might need a big pile of CDs to convert everything with the "burn and rip" method above. That's where the JHymn software can help. JHymn was created to allow you to exercise your fair-use rights under copyright law, and will free your iTunes music from DRM restrictions with no loss of sound quality. JHymn provides a drag and drop graphical interface for both Mac OSX and Windows users. But currently, JHymn will not work with iTunes Version 6 or higher. If you have an earlier version of iTunes, keep it, or visit http://www.oldapps.com/itunes.htm to search for a backlevel version.
you will need to have a 3rd party tool to help you copy songs in your ipod to computer as itunes blocks the ipod-to-computer transfer...see http://www.ipodtocomputer.net for help..get ipod to computer transfer, it's a shareware cost $20..it can copy songs, videos and playlists from ipod to pc only 2 clicks, works great for me.
