How do I get music from iTunes onto Windows Movie Maker?

I've tried clicking "import audio or music" and then looking in my iTunes folder and all of that, but either the folder is empty or it says it's not the right type. I've also tried dragging it to the timeline but that doesn't work either. Right now I'm forced to believe my computer hates me because nothing is working. lol. But now I've taken the songs I want from iTunes and burned them onto a blank CD. But now that they are on the CD, how do I get them onto Windows Movie Maker? Someone help!! =]

The original songs from iTunes won't work with Windows Movie Maker, but if you have the songs on a CD now, it's rather simple. Put the CD back into your computer and rip the songs back on to your hard drive. (Use Dell Jukebox or Windows Media Player to make sure you don't rip the songs back into an Apple format.) Make sure that your ripping settings have it so you rip the songs into MP3 format (as that is the easiest format to deal with.) then once the CD is done copying, find the NEWLY imported songs (not the original ones you downloaded from iTunes) and simply drag them into Windows Movie Maker! Enjoy!

It depends on the file format. If you have aac. files you will have to convert them to Mp3 or WMA before windows media player can use or even see them.

.aac is I-tunes file format.

Also when you are in the i-tunes folder wanting to import music, make sure the bar on the bottom of the window is selected to see "ALL FILES" not a certain kind of file.
