Is there a way to import MPEG-4 movies into Windows Movie Maker?

I try to import them and its not a supported filed type.

I got this new camcorder for christmas and it saves the files as MPEG-4 types

is there a way on my computer to convert those into WMV or something?

or like a patch for windows movie maker i can get to allow the MPEG-4 videos to be used?

You should convert the mp4 video format to avi or wmv that windows movie maker supported, i ever use nidesoft video converter to convert mp4 to avi which performance is really good and the after service is instantly. As far as i know they provide a free trail version at their site http://www.nidesoft.com, you can visit it.

best of luck
