How do I create files that can be captured in Windows movie maker or DVD Phot Slideshow?

I have burned DVD using DVD recorder. The files are in .IFO %26amp; .VOB format. How to convert them in the format that be used in Windows Movie Maker or DVD Photo Slideshow?Which program do I use? I am not planning to these program too often, so free programs will be better. I have never done this before, so I appreciate step by step instructions. Thanks for your help!

I dont know any free programs for these but i think there must be some kind of program to do this

but i think that the steps will be basically the same

so here we go

Buy or download a free program capable of doing this

like a free video converter

just make sure that the program is able to convert dvd videos another format like .AVI

steps

1 import your video into the program

2. select convert video

for the ......................

seriously i need to research this because i know how to do it

but it depens on the program
