well I do this all the time you have to on the side pannel in windows movie maker it says make into dvd and it will open windows dvd maker or the program you have set there and then insert a dvd+r disc if you have a newer computer or DVD-r disc if you have an older computer.And this should work.Hope this helps.

burn it on a disc use like oh , Nero has a good burning software
You should be able to export to a DVD using Movie Maker, and if you can't, there are programs that can put normal video files onto a DVD. (For example, Nero)

However, I recommend that you ditch Movie Maker all together and get a program that will edit better, and easily let you make DVDs.
