How do i upload a video into youtube using windows movie maker ?

i have edited a video, on windows movie maker, to put on youtube but an error keeps on showing up! it says that the video isn't the right file format, how do i change that ? the file type thing is something like ".mmws" when the file type needs to be like an ".avi" or something that can be able to be uploaded on youtube! is there something i need to do to make it a different kind of file format ? if so, please tell.

You need to save the movie file as wmv in movie maker, it's one of the options, I believe it might be "Export Movie" or something like that, it's been a while.

open your movie/clip in windows movie maker and go to File%26gt;Save Movie File
you need to export it as a different format. USe the save movie file option under file.
the file format needs to be .wmv

under finish movie on the side click save to my computer, if you didn't do that before.
Well after you make the movie you dont just save or save as, all you have to do is save video file, and it should format it to the right file type. It will take a few minutes. bout 20 depending on the size. But I have done it so it will work.
ok save it in the top right corner and press "file" then click save as. after it loads and yada yada blah blah blah go to youtube and go on your profile and on the top it should say upload...hope i helped
