I created a video using windows movie maker, but before I put it onto a DVD, is there any way to add a menu/title screen so that you could navigate through the DVD easily, etc.? Also, does anybody know how to transfer the video from Windows Movie Maker to a DVD? Lastly, i would like to add the video on youtube, is there a time restriction on youtube? Because my video is 10 minutes. Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!
Create a menu/title screen to a video i created using Windows Movie maker, and Burn to DVD?windows explorer
1) The DVD menu would only be available if you happened to burn the movie onto the DVD through Windows DVD Maker. Straight from Movie Maker would only cause a repeated loop.
2) Like I said, you'd need to use Windows DVD Maker or something similar to burn the DVD. Of course, you will also need a CD/DVD drive that allows for the burning of DVDs.
3) The restriction for YouTube videos is 100 MB of size, and about 10 minutes in length. You'd probably be cutting it close, but I wouldn't worry about it too much. I've seen videos much longer than 10 mins.
You should also note, that to do any of this, you will need to publish the movie file directly onto your Computer, so you can use the file for said DVD Maker and for YouTube. To do this, click on the "Finish/Publish Movie" option (or whatever it is for your Windows MM version and choose the "Save for Playback on My Computer" option that comes up. Make sure to publish it to best quality, because compressing it to a certain file size could cause video loss. From there, you can upload it to YouTube and post it into DVD Maker.
