Anyone know how to import audio from a cd to windows movie maker?

When I try it it says The file D:/ is not a supported file type and it cannot be imported into windows movie maker. if you could help me that would be great thanks!

Are you importing the D:\ drive itself or the files. Better sugestion would be to save the files to the computer and then import them from there. Also if you are trying to import a music CD files to your windows movie maker, then that would be a problem. Rip the songs and import them from the saved location.

Yes.



You can't go direct from CD to the Movie Maker I don't think.



Move the audio file to your hard drive. Then drag it to movie maker and it should work. You can edit just a song using movie maker. Pretty handy and simple tool.

the reason is because it can not play seperate audio files such as those



try getting another program
Rip it to your computer in MP3 format. I do it all of the time.
