How can I import my videos on my camera to Windows movie maker?

I have a kodak easy share digital camera.. and when I go on to windows movie maker, and try to import a video I took with that camera it wont show up..



this is what i do, i click on "import video"



then i go to my kodak file...



but when i go to the folder the video is supposed to be in, it appears blank as if there was never a video there!



any suggestions? please help!???

try this: My Computer %26gt; (your camera, it will come with a letter like K: or E: or something like that) %26gt; look for the videos you want on the memory chip %26gt; copy and paste them to another location like your hard drive or flash drive (try My Documents %26gt; My Videos)



then when you go to windows movie maker, look for the videos in the place you pasted them at.

put it on a removable disk and save then open it up
do you have a sbc cord pluged in from the computer to the camra?
when you download it on your computer, put it on a spacific file. call it "VIDEOS THAT SHOULD BE HERE" or somthing. mabe its in a wrong file or somthing.
what TYPE files is kodac use? windows may need to convert your camera files into something that wmp can "see"
