How do you cut out a part of a scene in a movie in windows movie maker?

im doing a project and i want to cut out a little part of a scene and i dont know how to! im using windows movie maker and its URGENT, THANK YOU! =]

Click on the split icon in the preview window pane or click ctrl+L, at the beginning and end of the part you want to remove, then in the storyboard delete it.

Right under the preview player, there is one button (2 buttons if you are on Windows XP). Click it.
slice it on either side of the part you want deleated and then highlight the bit you want out then hit delete
