I have the codecs, why can't I upload a video to Windows Movie Maker?

Hello.

I have been trying to upload a video to Windows Movie Maker, but it won't work. I downloaded Theorica Divx Codecs, and every other video but this one will upload. When I try I only get the message:

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\My Music\Sample Music\Road of Nameless Liberty\Road of Nameless Liberty, Six Guns....avi could not be imported.

There's no reason given. But (and I don't know if this means anything) when I downloaded a Windows Media Player codec the video played fine on WMP, but downloading that codec erased the Theorica I had before. What can I do to upload this video?
